Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has shared the list of openings in Indian Railways in response to a question from Rajya Sabha. As per the list, Indian Railway is going to invite interested and eligible candidates to apply for Railway Recruitment 2023. The eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment drive online.
Railway Recruitment 2023 Details
“Railway vacancies are available in all groups, including A, B, and C. 2,48,895 vacancies in all zones of the Railway in Group C posts, while 2070 posts are vacant in Group A and B posts.”
“A total of 1,28,349 candidates have been enlisted (up to 30.06.2023) to Group’ C’ posts (excluding Level-1) against notifications.”
“A total of 1,47,280 candidates have been enlisted (up to 30.06.2023) to Level-1 posts against notifications.”
“Direct recruitment to Group ‘A’ Services on Indian Railways is mainly done by UPSC. Indent is placed on UPSC and DoPT, said Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in a written reply to Rajya Sabha.”
