A constitution bench of the Supreme court of India, led by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, is all set to deliver its verdict on the politically sensitive Ayodhya land dispute case on November 9. A 70-decades-long civil dispute on who owns the title of 67.703 acres of land in the Ayodhya over the has turned into a religious and political battle.

The judgment would be hammered by a constitution bench comprising of Chief Justice Rajan Gogoi and justices S.A. Bode, D.Y. Chandrachud, Ashok Bushan and Abdul Nazeer.
The apex court had been hearing appeals against the Allahabad High Court verdict of 2010, which spilt the land equally among three parties namely Ram Lalla, Nirmohi Akhara and the Sunni Waqf Board.
As of now, security across the country, especially in Ayodhya and parts adjoining the same, has been heightened in an attempt to thwart any possibility of conflicts between communities. Political leaders, including Yogi Adityanath, has urged the citizens of the country to respect the decision of the Apex Court and avoid unwanted comments on the same.
