Reliance Jio, one of the country’s leading telecom carriers, unveiled a new JioMotive (2023) device in a significant move that would improve the experience of Indian car owners. The gadget includes tons of capabilities designed to increase driving convenience and vehicle security.
The JioMotive, which costs Rs 4,999, is available on a variety of websites, including Jio.com, Amazon, and Reliance Digital’s e-commerce sites.
In addition, the device provides data on vehicle health monitoring. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) notifications are accessed via a specialized app that gives consumers important information. Furthermore, the JioMotive assesses driving behavior and gives data on a driver’s habits and performance behind the wheel.
Importantly, JioMotive has anti-theft and accident detection features, ensuring that drivers receive timely alerts in the case of theft or incidents. Built-in Wi-Fi capabilities are also incorporated for increased connectivity.
It’s important to understand that JioMotive is only designed to work with Jio’s SIM; as a result, it probably won’t work with SIMs from other carriers. The device transfers the benefits of a car owner’s current Jio smartphone subscription to their vehicle.
Jio has also introduced a limited-time offering that includes a one-year free JioMotive subscription. Subscriptions can continue to utilize these features beyond the first year for an extra Rs 599.
Reliance Digital’s website is currently providing an additional 10% off the new Jio car monitoring device. The offer is currently live on the web shop, albeit it may only be available for a limited time. According to the information on the company’s website, the equipment will also come with a one-year guarantee.
