Rohit Sharma, was not the topic of discussion for BCCI’s Senior National Selection Committee on Monday as the selection committee has decided not to include the opener in the upcoming Australian Tour of India.
The Australian tour, which will begin from November 27, will have the two teams locking horns against each other in fours Tests, three One-day Internationals and as many Twenty20 Internationals.

Rohit Sharma’s absence from the team is the result of his recent hamstring injury. Besides Rohit, Ishant Sharma was also not considered for the Test squad owing to a rib injury.
