Mahesh Bhatt’s film Sadak 2 has been released on Disney+ Hostar. The film stars Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt in lead roles and is a sequel of 1991 film Sadak.
The movie has negatively been in the news amidst nepotism debates after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Its trailer had become the most disliked trailer in the world recently and probably the most disliked YouTube video in India.
Adding salt to its fresh wound are the critics’ ratings for the movie that claim that the film entertains a poor storyline, unbearable screenplay and is a ‘Kalank’ to Mahesh Bhatt’s career. The movie has got a mere 1.1-star rating on IMDb. Have a look:

The plot of Sadak 2 has Sanjay Dutt, who has lost the hope to live after his beloved’s (Pooja Bhatt) death. Arya (Alia Bhatt) makes her way into his life as they, along with Aditya, leave for a road journey to Kailash mountain. A self-styled guru (played by Makrand Deshpande) is out to kill her.
