Refusing an offer of ‘Free Ice-cream’ could have gone this way would have never been thought by Amit Sharma. The 25 years old Sharma lost his life after being beaten by 4 men for refusing their offer. The incident took place in the Rohini region of Delhi.
As per reports 4 persons namely Lakshay (27), a student, his elder brother, Karan (29), a sales executive and their friends Dhiraj (26) and Avinash (27) are held. They all were celebrating Lakshay’s passing out of his MBBS exam after which they went out to have some ice-cream.
On noticing Sharma, who was with his brother-in-law Rahul and a friend Ishant the group offered then free ‘ice-cream’. As Sharma turned down the offer altercation begun between the two sides. The 4 men who were under the influence of Alcohol assaulted him Sharma with the sticks, and then fled the scene.

Amit sustained head injuries as a result of the attack and was declared bought dead by the hospital. A case of Murder has been registered against the 4 men and they are being arrested. Rahul and Ishant noted the registration number of the attackers’ bike which helped the police to nab them.
