The ‘Use Face ID’ label would be a button on the screen lock view in its current update, and the lock symbol has been relocated to the top of the display. WhatsApp always seeks fresh approaches to better the user experience using its UI. A report claims that the Meta-owned platform is currently modifying its screen lock view.
A website that follows news and updates about WhatsApp, WABetaInfo, reported the development. The website provided the following screenshot to demonstrate how the new interface will vary from the existing one.
The lock symbol has been relocated to the top of the screen, and the ‘Use Face ID’ label has been changed to a button. This new view is “definitely more intuitive and modern,” according to WABetaInfo.
The new screen lock view, however, can display unexpectedly even when it shouldn’t, causing some users to have some difficulties with the redesign, according to WABetaInfo, who also said that the problem is probably going to be resolved in the upcoming releases.
Only a restricted group of beta testers who have downloaded the most recent WhatsApp beta for iOS via the TestFlight app are presently able to access the newly designed screen lock view. Over the next coming days, many individuals will get access to this update.
