As per a report by Copernicus Climate Change Service, which keeps a track of the global temperature, September 2019 was the hottest September the world has witnessed since the dawn of its existence.

The world temperature in September 2019 was as high as 0.57°C, which is 0.02-degree celsius warmer than September 2016. Central and eastern USA, the Mongolian plateau and parts of the Arctic recorded a significant hike in the temperature during the month of Septemeber. July 2019 was the hottest month ever recorded on Earth, as per US agency NOAA.
