Amidst the rapidly decreasing air quality of Delhi (triggered after Diwali) environmentalists have written to the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly to shift the venue of the 1st T20I between India and Bangladesh.

The first match of the 3-match T20I series between the two nations is scheduled to be played on 3rd November at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Pollution level in Delhi is at it worse post-Diwali.

Earlier in 2017, the Sri Lankan cricket team was affected by the capital’s pollution and were forced to play the match wearing pollution masks.
