Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhant Kapoor has been detained by Bengaluru police in a drug case. He has tasted positive for the medical test.
Siddhant Kapoor Detained In Drugs Case
Bengaluru police has detained Siddhant Kapoor and four others in a drug case on Sunday. It is alleged that the actor consumed drugs at a rave party. It has been confirmed by the Bengaluru police that he was one among six people who were found consuming drugs at the party.
Bengaluru police got a tip-off and raided the five-star hotel on Sunday. All the 35 guests present at the party were taken into custody and a medical test was done. Siddhant tested positive on the drug test. Dr. Bheemashankar S.Guled, DCP, East division of Bengaluru City, said, “Siddhanth Kapoor has tested positive for drugs. He has been brought to Ulsoor Police Station,’’ The accused have not been produced in front of court till now.

Shakti Kapoor’s Reaction
Siddhant is the brother of Bollywood actress Sharadha Kapoor. Sharadha was also called for an inquiry by NCB in 2020 in the case of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. However, no further action was taken against the actress. Siddhant is also an actor and has worked as an assistant director. He has been a part of about 20 films and was seen in the 2020 web series ‘Bhaukaal’. He has worked in films like ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Ugly, ‘Haseena Parkar’, ‘Chehre’. He has worked as assistant director in ‘Bhagam Bhag’, ‘Chup Chup Key, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, and ‘Dhol’.
His father Shakti Kapoor has reacted to the incident and has said, “I can say only one thing – it’s not possible”.
