Sidhu Moose Wala, a famous singer, and rapper from Punjab was shot dead on Sunday, May 29, he had joined Congress recently before the Punjab elections. The shooter is an unidentified resident of Jawaharke village in Mansa district.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Shot Dead After Security Withdrawn
This shocking incident took place the day after the security was withdrawn by the Punjab Police of 424 people, including Moose Wala.
Moose Wala competed on a congress ticket in the assembly polls from Mansa district. But was defeated by Dr. Vijay Singla of AAP with a difference of 63,323 votes. Vijay Singla was recently terminated by Punjab CM, Bhagwant Mann over corruption charges.
Also, last month, Sidhu made a lot of headlines over a song he created named ‘Scapegoat’. In his songs, he has allegedly aimed the word ‘gaddar’ which means a traitor for AAP supporters.

Who Is Sidhu Moose Wala Aka Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu?
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu also known as Sidhu Moose Wala was born on June 17, 1993. He was from Moose Wala village of Mansa district, had a fan following up to millions, and was famous for his rap. He learned and developed his music skills during his college days and graduated as an Electrical Engineer, but later moved to Canada.
He has always been a controversial singer, who openly promoted gun and gangster culture in his songs. One of his songs ‘Jatti Jeonay Morh Di Bandook Wargi’ created ruckus when it was released in September, 2019. His song offended the supporters of 18th-century Sikh warrior Mai Bhago. Later, the singer apologized.
