In an attempt to get her name in the Guinness Book of World Records Pune based singer Manjushree Oak would perform non-stop for 13 hours. The announcement about the show was made by the singer and her guru veteran music composer Pt Hridaynath Mangeshkar in a press conference on Wednesday.
Manjushree already holds many records in singing non-stop at a stretch. Prominent of them include the record for singing for 12 hours at a stretch in 2017 and 2018. She has also set records in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records with her singing.
Not only she would sing for 13 hours on a stretch but would do so in 122 different languages. The singer said, that ” 2019 has been declared as the international year of indigenous language. So, to celebrate our country’s rich linguistic diversity, I will attempt to sing songs in 122 Indian languages in a single performance to create a new world record”. She would deliver social messages through her singing as well.
The show named “Amrutvaani” would be held on the 10th of October from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha in Kothrud.
