Tech giant Google has decided to expand its .new shortcut domain feature. Recently it extended the feature to Google calendars. With this, any firm would soon be able to register a .new domain to help their users start tasks faster.
Sites like Spotify, e-bay, and Medium were quick to register on their own .new domain. Spotify claimed Playlists.new while Medium has Story.new. e-bay went for Sell.new. The domains would not be available immediately.

One can apply for a .new domain beginning on December 2nd. Google shared the list of 10.new domains.
