In a major revelation, the Police after investigation revealed that the Snapchat screenshot that discussed ‘gang rape’ and Instagram Bois Locker Room group are not linked. Also, the person in the Snapchat screenshot discussing rape is a girl and is using a fake id to do so. Reportedly, the girl made a fake account to test the boy’s response and his character.

The girl had made a fake Snapchat account under a fictional name ‘Siddharth’, who was being linked to #Boislockerroom. The girl and the boy are not a part of the Bois Locker Room but a screenshot of their Snapchat interaction was being shared on social media alongside those of the Instagram group and got mixed up, police said.
No case has been registered against the girl the police said. “Although, creating a fake id is wrong, her intent was not malicious so we are not filing any complaint,” an official told news agency PTI.

A report by TOI added that the boy soon took notice and informed his friends about the same. The Police report says that the boy refused to take part in the girl’s fake plan and stopped communicating with her on Snapchat. He also informed about the same to the girl who was using the fake account.
