The Facebook and Twitter accounts of close to 15 teams of U.S.A’s ‘ National Football League’ were reported to be hacked. A hacking group OurMine took responsibility for the attack.
Though the teams did not respond Twitter confirmed that the accounts were hacked by a third-party platform. The hacker group has claimed the attack as one for a purpose. The group says that it was an attempt to show internet security was “still low” and had to be improved.

The group has a notorious past. It has earlier hacked accounts of companies and well-known individuals to offer its private cybersecurity services.
