Popular Argentinian player and Barcelona striker Lionel Messi scripted another record through his performance in the UEFA Champions League (UCL). Messi on Wednesday become the first player in the history of UCL to score against 34 different teams.

He achieved the feat when he scored for his side Barcelona in there 3-1 win over Dortmund. Wednesday’s match was Messi’s 700th appearance for the Spanish football club.

Messi now has 613 goals from 700 matches for his club side Barcelona. Messi is also Barcelona’s all-time top-scorer with 648 goals in all competitions.
