Form 10D must be completed if you are an Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) member seeking to apply for a monthly pension. To make a pension claim under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) 1995, you must use this form offered by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).
The main claimant, who may be the member, a widow or widower, an orphan, a nominee, or other qualified parties, must complete it.

Types Of Pension Available

- Superannuation Pension: Regardless of employment status, for members who retire at age 58.
- Reduced Pension: Members who retire between the ages of 50 and 58 after quitting their employment will get a reduced pension.

How to Apply for Pension Using Form 10D Online
Follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for your EPF pension online:
- Go to the EPFO website.
- Make sure to choose ‘For Employees’ from the list of services.
- After swiping down, select “Online Services.”
- To access the Unified Member e-Seva interface, enter your password and Universal Account Number (UAN).
- After choosing ‘Online Services’, click on the Form 10D option.
- Check the information on your bank account.
- If you agree to the terms and conditions, check the box.
- Proceed with the online claim.
- Check the information about your family members, including their names.
- Upload a file with your name printed on your bank passbook.
- Examine the submitted information and ask for an OTP to be issued to the cellphone number you registered with Aadhaar.
- Fill out the form and enter the OTP you received.
