As the Modi government presented its 2nd budget the stock market crashed to a decade’s low. The investors in the stock market were disappointed by the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday. This is the first time since 2010 that the market has seen a ‘900 to 1000’ points fall on a budget day.
The BSE Sensex dipped by 900.29 points to 39,805.61. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty fell 276.85 to close at 11,685.25. The stock market on Friday closed on the red mark with a fall.

However, before the Economic Survey, the initial trading stock market saw a boom. The Sensex fell 190.33 points to 40,723.49 and the Nifty lost 73.70 points to close at 11,962.10 yesterday.
