Google Co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, in a blog they shared on Dec 3, announced their adieu from their respective role as CEO and President, from Google’s parent company Alphabet. The co-founders named Google CEO Sundar Pichai as the new CEO of Alphabet, quoting that there is “no better person” than Pichai to lead Google and Alphabet.

“He’s worked closely with us for 15 years. There’s no one that we’ve relied on more since Alphabet was founded,” Page and Brin said adding that”Alphabet and Google no longer need two CEOs and a President”.
