The Surat station is being built into a world-class station and is now undergoing a complete transformation. From Monday, June 10, 2024, until Saturday, September 07, 2024, concourse work related to the current Station Redevelopment work (Phase-I) of Surat Station on Platform No. 04 will be conducted.
Due to this, a few trains that originate or depart from Surat railway station will now have their terminal moved to Udhna station, which is conveniently located and just 07 km away by road. This terminal relocation will improve operational flexibility, ease traffic at Surat station, facilitate the expansion and improvement of passenger services, and hasten the completion of the current Surat infrastructure project.
The following information on these trains comes from Western Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Sumit Thakur.
