Sparking controversy BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga warned a ‘surgical strike’ on Shaheen Bagh. Commenting about the protestors at Shaheen Bagh who are objecting CAA Bagga wrote a tweet.
He tweeted, “Shaheen Bagh supporters told Jantar Mantar yesterday that the Indian Army kills its people, the Indian Army is being compared to the Pakistani Army. Shaheen Bagh has become the base of treason; First of all, surgical strike will be done on these bases on the 11th of February”.

Bagga was pointing towards the results of the Delhi Assembly Elections that are to be announced on 11th February in his tweet. Protestors including women, children and the elderly are protesting in large numbers since last month against the CAA. The government has however said that they would not move back on their decision.
