After a series of poster and teaser release the trailer of much-awaited Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is officially out. The movie marks an important occasion for Ajay Devgan as he completes a century of movies in Bollywood with this one.

The news of the trailer launch was announced on the official Twitter handle of T-Series. The movie brings on screen the real-life chemistry of Ajay and Kajol as Kajol is playing the character of Savitribai Malusare who is the wife of the protagonist of the movie Tanaji Malusare played by Ajay Devgan.
Set in the 17th century this period drama brings Ajay’s character Tanhaji against Udaybhan Rathod the Mughal Army Chief played by Saif Ali Khan. The movie is centered around the Maratha’s plan to recapture Kondhana fort from the Mughals. Tanhaji who was a brave Maratha warrior of Shivaji Maharaj’s army took the responsibility of leading the operation.
The trailer shows some high octane action scenes and clashes and highlights the date of 4th February 1670 (the day when the Marathas went all guns blazing) as a surgical strike on the Mughal empire.
The movie which was earlier slated for December 27th release this year would hit the screens on 10th January next year. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is an ambitious project of Ajay Devgan and is directed by Om Raut.

The movie stars Jagapathi Babu, Pankaj Tripathi and Sharad Kelkar in leading roles apart from the big three (Saif, Ajay and Kajol).
