Ahead of the Republic Day celebrations on 26th January, Jammu and Kashmir police has claimed of busting a terror module planning an attack on the occasion. The police on Thursday claimed to have busted a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) Module which was involved in two recent grenade attacks in Srinagar city.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) VK Birdi informed that they have busted a Jaish module by arresting five militant operatives, who were planning to execute militant attack and causing Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion in the city.

Though the police has termed it as a big success further investigations are underway to unearth other modules and conspiracy to burst other planned attacks.
