As per Global property consultant Cushman & Wakefield, Delhi’s Khan Market has jumped one spot to become the 20th most expensive retail location in the world.
In its latest report ‘Main Streets Across the World 2019’, the consultant said that Khan market’s annual rent stood USD 243 per sq ft. Last year, Khan Market was ranked 21st with USD 237 per sq ft a year.
The Cushman & Wakefield report tracked 68 countries across the world to forge the stats. The statics are based on street rent rates during the entirety of the second quarter of 2019.
The list has been topped by Causeway Bay in Hong Kong with an annual rent of USD 2,745 per sq ft.
New York’s Upper 5th Avenue took the second position (USD 2,250 per sq ft) in the list, followed by London’s New Bond Street (USD 1,714 per sq ft) and Avenue des Champs Elysees in Paris (USD 1,478 per sq ft).
