Western Railway has announced the opening of three more Festival Special Trains at special prices to handle the increased demand for passengers throughout the holiday season. These trains would link important locations throughout the area, making travelling from places like Bandra, Gorakhpur, Valsad, Udhna, Jaynagar, Ujjain, Sabarmati, and Patna easier.
Vineet Abhishek, Western Railway’s chief public relations officer, stated in a news release that the following are the unique trains:
1. Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur – Valsad Special (Train No. 09093/09094) – 2 Trips
- Train No. 09093: Leaves Bandra Terminus at 04:40 on Sunday, November 3, 2024, and arrives in Gorakhpur at 18:00 the following day.
- Train No. 09094: On Monday, November 4, 2024, at 22:00, it leaves Gorakhpur and arrives in Valsad at 6:00 on Wednesday.
Udhna, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Ujjain, and Kanpur are important stations where the train will stop. Train No. 09093 will also stop at Borivali, Palghar, Dahanu Road, Vapi, and Valsad. General Second Class coaches will be used for this service.
2. Udhna – Jaynagar – Ujjain Special (Train No. 09039/09040) – 2 Trips
- Train No. 09039: On Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 07:25, it leaves Udhna and arrives in Jaynagar at 2:00 on Tuesday.
- Train No. 09040: On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 05:30, it leaves Jaynagar and arrives in Ujjain at 16:00 the same day.
Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Patliputra, Muzaffarpur, and Darbhanga are among the important stations where this train stops. Additional stops with General Second Class coaches are also included at Surat, Vadodara, Godhra, Ratlam, and Ujjain.
3. Sabarmati – Patna Special (Train No. 09463/09464) – 2 Trips
- Train 09463: Leaves Sabarmati at 18:00 on Sunday, November 3, 2024, and arrives in Patna at 10:00 on Tuesday.
- Train No. 09464: On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 13:00, it leaves Patna and arrives in Sabarmati at 5:30 on Thursday.
Mahesana, Ajmer, Jaipur, Agra Fort, Kanpur Central, Varanasi, and Buxar are just a few of the places this train will stop. A variety of coach options are available for the service, including General Second Class, Sleeper, AC 2-Tier, and AC 3-Tier.
