It’s not been even a week into 2020 and it seems like we are already in a war zone.
The US President on Friday gave the world another reason to believe that the US and Iran’s relations are not improving anytime soon as adhering to the orders from the White House the US Army killed Qasem Soleimani, the top commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and a US-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Deputy chief of Iraq’s Hashed al-Shaabi force was also eliminated during the strike that took at the Baghdad airport.

According to the US Department of Defense, Qasem Soleimani was planning to target and kill a number of US diplomats and service members in Iraq.
“General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more,” US said.
As per the sources, the Baghdad airport was hit by a volley of missiles just after midnight Friday.
“At the direction of the President, the US military has taken decisive defensive action to protect US personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a US-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization,” the Pentagon said.
Donald Trump had tweeted a picture of the American flag after the airstrike.
As soon as the killing of Qasem Soleimani broke in, World War 3 started trending on Twitter. And people are surely irritated.
