After getting banned from Facebook and Twitter, former US President Donald Trump has launched his own communications platform. On Tuesday, the announcement comes months after the ex-president kicked out of all the major social platforms; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more.
Trump’s spokesman Jason Miller took on Twitter and said, “President Trump’s website is a great resource to find his latest statements and highlights from his first term in office, but this is not a new social media platform. We’ll have additional information coming on that front in the very near future.”
However, Fox News first reported about the launch of a new communications platform. Contrary to the rumors, his spokesman clearly stated that the communications platform is an extension of his website, not a social media platform. This space is generally for Trump to share his posts, videos, views, and interact with his followers.

Initially, Zuckerberg banned Donald Trump from all the social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and others a few months ago. However, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg also expressed concerns over letting Trump remain on its platform. He said, “We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great. Thus, we extend the block we have placed on his Instagram and Facebook accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.”
