TV actor Kushal Punjabi who was last seen in Ishq Mein Marjawan was found dead at his Mumbai residence beside a suicide note.
The news was first shared by actor Karanvir Bohra who in a tweet wrote “Ur demise has shocked the hell out of me.I’m still in denial @PunjabiKushal I know you are in a happier place,but this is unfathomable. You really inspired me with the way you saw life, but what was I to know. I will always remember u as a #dancingdaddy #fit & a #lifeenthusiast.”
The 37-year-old, who was found dead in his Bandra flat, left a suicide note which read “There is no one responsible for my suicide.”
Police investigation revealed that Kushal had stopped receiving calls on Thursday. His parents had called him multiple times and after there was no response, they decided to visit him.
On reaching his apartment at 10:30 in the night, they used the spare key to open the flat’s door when no one responded to their knocks from the inside.
That was when they found their son motionless. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead before admission.
Kushal Punjabi’s wife Audrey Dolhen was out of India when he took the drastic step.
Kushal has acted in movies including Lakshya, Kaal and Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. He was also a part of various television programs and reality shows including CID, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Love Marriage and Kya Haal Mister Panchal.
