Most influential social media platform Twitter is reportedly testing a new feature that will provide a facility to display their mood to users. In simple terms they can set a status displaying their vibe, this feature is dubbed with the codename ‘Vibe Check’. This was first sighted by a researcher named Jane Muchun Wong, her job is very interesting which allows her to keep track of upcoming updates for different apps.

She tweeted, “Twitter is working on “Set a status” in Tweet Composer, codenamed ‘Vibe’.” Also shared the screenshot of the feature allowing you to set a status. “You can think of it as something similar to the Instagram Threads app’s Status.”

And that is not all, as you can see in the screenshot, Twitter is also providing five pre-set vibes including “Eating Yummy Ramen”, “Driving Highway”, “Shopping Grocery”, “Lurking Twitter”, and “Studying For The Final Exam” with fun emoji reactions.

This feature is also spotted by “Alessandro Paluzzi”, who shared the news with a tweet that says, “#Twitter keeps working on the Status feature ?”.

  • Mainly it is yet not clear whether setting up the status is only limited to these five pre-sets or if the users can customise it.

  • While on the other hand, Twitter is tailing a new feature that will allow a user to unmention her presence out of any conversation or discussion that he or she doesn’t wanna be a part of.
