A 17-year-old teen from New York fooled ‘Twitter’ to get a fake account created by him verified. The high school student created a fake account by the name ‘Andrew Walz’. He presented Walz as a congressional candidate.
To add authenticity to it he created a website of ‘Walz’, and Artificial Intelligence generated a picture of the person. Using all he tricked ‘Twitter‘ to get the account verified. Interestingly it took it just 25 minutes to do this. The teenager submitted Andrew Walz’s information to a website called Ballotpedia.

Ballotpedia keeps track of American political candidates. Twitter partnered with the site last year to identify the official Twitter accounts of candidates and their campaigns.
