UIDAI has come up with a big update on infants’ and children’s Aadhaar Card making process and you should learn about it.
With the help of a tweet on Twitter, UIDAI stated that “there won’t be any change in your child’s #Aadhaar number after updating the biometrics.” You can check this detail in the tweet posted below:
For those of you who do not know about it, let me tell you that you can get an Aadhaar Card for infants. It means that your baby can get his or her identification as soon as they come into the world. However, there is no biometric updating process involved in this process and you can update their biometric details once they turn at least 5 years old.
So, this Twitter tweet suggests that once you have updated your children’s biometric details, the Aadhaar Number of the child won’t change ever.
Also, if you have not updated your kid’s biometric details, you must know that it is a mandatory process and you should get through it when the time comes.
Conclusion
In this article, we learnt about the latest update by UIDAI that there can’t be any changes made to the Aadhaar Number once the biometrics of the child are updated. Also, updating biometric details is a mandatory requirement to complete the Aadhaar Card process.
Please share this article with your peers around you who are expecting babies or whose kids are turning 5 in the coming year.
