The Unique Identification Authority of India or UIDAI, a unique 12 digit Aadhaar number enrolling Government unit, in collaboration with “National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)” launched the Bhuvan Aadhaar Portal. To provide services to the aadhaar holders in the comfort of their homes, this portal has been launched. This portal will be dedicated to providing information and the location of the Aadhaar Seva Centres across India.

Bhuvan Aadhaar is launched by the combined efforts of UIDAI, ISRO and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. This portal offers you a unique service to locate the nearest Aadhaar Centre across India with a few simple steps. Based on requirements residents can also filter their search to find relevant Aadhaar Centres.
UIDAI shared the news with a tweet on July 15. “UIDAI in its continual efforts to enhance ‘Ease of Living’ for the resident introduces the ‘Bhuvan Aadhaar’ facilitating the Geo-Spatial display of Aadhaar centres”, it said.
Here are the three ways to find the closest Aadhaar Centre with Bhuvan Aadhaar Portal:
- Search by name of the Aadhaar Seva Kendra
- Search by PIN Code
- State-wise Aadhaar Seva Kendra
How It Works?
“When you land on the Bhuvan Aadhaar portal using the link , you will be able to see the map of India, with circles on different parts signifying the number of Aadhaar centres in each area. On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see a menu with four options — Centres Nearby, Search by Aadhaar Seva Kendra, Search by Pin Code and State-wise Aadhaar Seva Kendra. You can click on each of these options to find your nearest Aadhaar centre,” as per News18.

The Ministry of Electronics and IT notified in a press release on April 8, “NRSC will be developing the Bhuvan-Aadhar portal providing information and locations of the aadhaar centres across India. The portal also provides a facility to search the relevant Aadhaar centres by location based on residents’ requirements.”
