UP budget 2023 is being proposed by the Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Suresh Khanna, for the financial year 2023-24. This is the second budget proposed for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,
Another reason for the UP Budget 2023 holding great significance is because of the Lok Sabha elections that are dated between April-May 2024. “As the country’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh sends 80 members to the lower house of Parliament – the highest among all states and UTs. In 2014 and 2019, the BJP won 71 and 62 seats respectively from Uttar Pradesh, and crossed the majority mark in Lok Sabha on its own,” mentioned Hindustan times.
Main Highlights of UP Budget 2023
