In an effort to improve public transport in the Yamuna Motorway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) plans to launch a new bus service that will connect Jewar Airport to Pari Chowk in Greater Noida. This project is a component of a larger strategy to improve connectivity and quicken development in the quickly growing region.
According to a UPSRTC official on Sunday, three new bus routes have been found in the YEIDA region under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The 42-kilometer distance between Pari Chowk and Jewar Airport is regarded as the most important of these. This route will make getting to and from Greater Noida easier for both locals and visitors using the new international airport.
Even though there has been a limited bus service between Jewar Airport and Pari Chowk since 2023, the recently planned extension is anticipated to provide more frequent and wider coverage.
Two additional bus routes have been finalised in addition to the Jewar-Greater Noida line. Through Noida’s Sectors 20 and 21, one will offer bus service from the Botanical Garden to Kulesara and Bhangel.
The second route will run 51 kilometres from YEIDA’s regional office and Dankaur Chowk, Sector 17, and Bhangel.
Residents of Rabupura and Noida Sectors 17, 20, 21, and 26 as well as Gautam Buddha University students and commuters heading to important destinations including Pari Chowk, the District Magistrate’s office, Jagat Farm, Surajpur, Kulesara, and Bhangel village will be served by these routes.
The demand for effective public transit is rising as a result of the YEIDA region’s rapid industrial and residential expansion.
In this regard, the planned bus services—especially the Jewar-Pari Chowk route—represent an important step in addressing the need for mobility and promoting regional development.
Future plans call for the introduction of an electric bus service between Delhi and Jewar Airport. To further enhance the area’s transportation options, two additional bus lines will be added.
A significant step that will be crucial to the region’s overall development is the extension of transport services inside the Yamuna Development Authority.
