A Muslim man named Syed Mohd Islam has said that he will give an ancient coin, which carries the pictures of Lord Ram, Sita and Hanuman to the Mahant Nritya Gopal Das for Ayodhya Ram temple construction. The man has unearthed two of such coins while reconstructing his ancestral home. One of the two coins were sold off by his wife for Rs 3 lakh to a jeweller.
The man said that he himself will visit Ayodhya to give the coin to the Teerth Kshetra Trust (that is foreseeing the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya). He said that he will request the Mahant to sell the coin and use the amount in the construction of the temple. The coin is reportedly made of ‘Ashtadhatu’ (eight metal alloy).
