Prime Minister’s Day in Gujarat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi flared a green flag in front of the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express at the capital of Gujarat, Gandhinagar Railway Station this Friday at around 10:25 A.M.
In addition to giving a green signal to the train, he also took a ride on the train from Gandhinagar railway station to Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad.
At Kalupur Station, the P.M. inaugurated the phase-1 of the Ahmedabad Metro Project which was completed at a cost of Rs 12,925 crore.
From Kalupur station, he boarded the metro station and reached Doordarshan Centre in Thaltej. He addressed a mega gathering at the said location at noon on Friday.
In the evening, the prime minister will launch various projects worth Rs. 7,200 crore in Ambaji town in Banaskantha district. Also, he will perform an aarti at Ambaji Temple after the launches are made.
About Vande Bharat Express
The Vande Bharat Superfast Express train will run six days a week between the most popularly visited railway stations, Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar. The departure time of the train from Mumbai will be 6:10 A.M. and arrival at Gandhinagar is at 12:30 P.M.
It will again leave Gandhinagar railway station at 2:05 P.M. and arrive at Mumbai station at 8:35 P.M.
