Indian legendary actor Dilip Kumar died early on Wednesday after a protracted illness in Mumbai. He passed away at the age of 98. He breathed his last at 7.30 am in Mumbai’s Khar Hinduja Hospital. Dilip kumar is survived by his wife Saira Banu. She also an Indian veteran actor herself.
Faisal Farooqui, a family friend of Dilip Kumar, tweeted from the actor’s official Twitter handle, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, a few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him, we return. – Faisal Farooqui (sic).”

Dilip Kumar To Buried At Juhu Qabrastan
Dilip Kumar will laid to rest at Juhu Qabarstan in Mumbai’s Santacruz at 5 pm today. The news shared on the official Twitter account of the actor. However, the tweet says “Burial today at 5:00 PM. Juhu Qabrastan at Santacruz Mumbai (sic).”
Dilip Saab was hospitalized twice in June. On June 6, he admitted to the hospital due to breathing issues. After diagnosis and getting treatment, he returned on June 11. Again, he started facing similar breathing issues on June 30 and again hospitalized.
