The ‘WhatsApp’ has again become the center of fake news amidst the threat and spread of ‘coronavirus’. As the government of the country is taking all precautionary measures to prevent the disease a ‘fake’ audio clip is going viral.
The viral audio clip claims that ‘India will go into a lockdown’ much like ‘Italy’ due to coronavirus threat. The PIB took to social media to inform that it is fake and pure scaremongering. The government has urged the people to not forward such things and stay away from rumors.
As of now, India has reported around 110 cases of Coronavirus with the maximum being in Maharashtra. Out of the total cases, 16 are Italian tourists who were on a visit to India. 10 of the affected people have recovered so far.

In the latest updates, Karnataka reported its 7th positive case. The infected person is the daughter of the 76-year-old Kalaburgi man, who passed away last week. In Maharashtra, 3 cases from Mumbai and 1 from Navi Mumbai were reported.
