Italy’s Culture Ministry on Friday has discovered a Gladiator Fresco (painting on the wall) at the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. The fresco showcases two warrior-like gladiators with one standing victorious while his opponent can be seen stumbling in a pool of blood.

The painting, as experts say, is a projection of a tavern wherein, gladiators fought against each other or/and animals for public entertainment purposes.
