While the government, celebs, police and even the doctors keep reminding people to stay at home and practice social distancing, some just don’t listen. Foolishness is kinda in their blood and so are these people of Tamil Nadu.
Risking the lives of many, 100s people in Tamil Nadu gathered to conduct a funeral of a bull. Yes, sympathy towards animals is a MUST, but so is towards humans. And please, animals are not at a risk of dying due to coronavirus, humans are.
The video of the incident was shared by an editor associated with India Today, Shiv Aroor, which shows at least hundreds if not thousands of people out of their houses attending the funeral of a bull.
“This large crowd gathered yesterday at Muduvarapatti village in Tamil Nadu for the funeral of a Jallikattu bull,” read the caption of the video.

The funeral was conducted on April 12 and an inquiry as been launched against the people who attended the funeral.
“Total 3000 cases have been registered till date by Tamil Nadu Police for violating #CoronavirusLockdown in Madurai, this includes cases against few people who attended funeral of a bull in a village in Madurai on April 12,” ANI quoted the Madurai District Collector TG Vinay as saying.

Tamil Nadu is third in the list of coronavirus cases in India and such gathering will only spike its woes.
