As migrants from across the country have taken upon themselves to return to their homes amidst lockdown, a shocking video of them being disinfected on roads has outraged the people.
The video that emerges from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district shows a batch of migrants being sprayed by disinfectants. The video was shared by Congress’s Priyanka Gandhi wherein she urged the government to not promote such inhuman activities.
The migrants, as per a report by NDTV, have returned to their homes in the special buses organized by UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Adityanath has had pledged 1,000 buses for migrants wanting to go home as cities fail to provide them for their daily needs.
Yogi’s idea to shift people safely to their home towns had backfired after 1,000s of people gathered at the Anand Vihar bus stand in Delhi violating the PM stringent 21 days lockdown order. Many politicians blamed Arvind Kejriwal for not ensuring the safety of the migrant workers at the bus stand and many others termed the same as Migrant Exodus.

In the video perosn in the safety gear can be heard saying “Apni ankhen band kar lo. Bacchon ki ankhen band kar lo.
After the video was shared online, people had mix reactions about the same.
