Good news for the iPhone WhatsApp users. WhatsApp introduces a new calling interface for iPhone users where people can now add people for an ongoing call, and allow them to join a group call even after it starts. Earlier, the feature was first spotted in a recent beta version for iPhone users. The latest WhatsApp for iPhone release also updates archived chats tsp that stay archived and muted even when new messages arrive in those chats.
However, this calling interface feature is available for iPhone users using version 2.21.140. This new interface looks quite similar to how Apple’s FaceTime enables group calls. To add people while ongoing calls, just swipe up the calling menu from the bottom and tap the Add People option. In case, if people failed to accept the call initially, you can also call a contact from a group call.

In addition to this, the interface also coquettes the experience for one-to-one conversations with the same controls and buttons.
The latest version of WhatsApp for iPhone also makes changes to the behavior of archived chats. With this, the chats stay muted and archived even when new messages arrive from those numbers. In other words, the chats you archived earlier will not un-archive when they get a new message.
