WhatsApp, the Meta-owned instant messaging program, has begun to roll out a new text editing interface to Android beta users. With the latest version, users will be able to edit photographs, videos, and GIFs in the text editor.
According to the WABetaInfo report, users will be able to effortlessly choose between fonts by pressing one of the font selections presented above the keyboard. The text orientation will now be altered to left, right, or center, giving users additional choices over text formatting within photos, GIFs, and videos.
Beta users can now alter the backdrop color of the text, making it easier to distinguish significant content from the rest. According to various sources, other additional typefaces have also been provided to beta testers, including Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damion, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze.
Additionally, it was revealed earlier in March that the messaging platform was working on a new feature dubbed “audio chats,” which will be available during discussions in a future version of the Android app.
