After reducing the forward limits to ‘1’ at a time WhatsApp has come with some more changes. This time the messaging app has taken into consideration the need for people to connect with their dear ones amidst the pandemic.
The app just doubled the number of participants at a time for video or voice calls. From earlier 4 the number has now gone up to 8. As a result, we see that people all over the world are turning to voice and video calling on WhatsApp more than ever before“, said the statement from WhatsApp.

This is well above a typical day before the pandemic. Like the written messages, all those calls are protected with end-to-end encryption said WhatsApp.
