WhatsApp Being Perfect
WhatsApp is still not perfect after being perfect. It has approximately two billion users, they use this instant messaging platform to frequently communicate across the globe. Meta owned messenger has hundreds of features that make our conversations engaging and sometimes memorable. But despite being so awesome this app lacks some features that its competitors have. If some users want to share large sized files with someone using this platform then this multi-platform messaging app will not allow it. No matter which type of file you want to share like media, documents, apps etc, you cannot send over a few megabytes.
WhatsApp’s New Update Media File Size
This instant messaging platform always looks forward to sending new updates carrying amazing features for its users. And currently, it is working on an awesome feature that will solve the problem of sending bigger sized files. With an upcoming update, users may be able to send and receive files sizes over 2GB.
As per a WABetainfo report, “WhatsApp will soon start testing the “Media File Size” feature in Argentina which will allow users to share media files up to 2GB in size. The feature will initially be limited to Beta testers in Argentina.”
Currently, the feature is under testing, and WhatsApp is currently experimenting with a “large files feature” for iPhone users in Argentina. The beta feature is rolling out as WhatsApp Beta for IOS version 22.7.0.76.
