WhatsApp is all ready to introduce new features for its users that will allow users to share their screens during video calls. According to WABetaInfo, this new feature will be available to all the users who will install the Android 2.23.11.19 update on their smartphones.
According to WABetaInfo, the feature is designed to enhance and improve the overall experience of its users during video calls. WhatsApp has also introduced the feature of editing the sent messages for its users. The recent update has been launched and is expected to be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
How to ‘share screen’ on WhatsApp video call?
Users will see a new symbol in the call control view when on a video call after the app has been updated. When a user chooses to share their screen, everything that is displayed on their device is captured and sent to the receiver. Even if screen material is still being transmitted throughout the video chat, the user always has the option to discontinue screen sharing. Additionally, this function won’t be engaged until the user gives permission to share the information on their screen.
It’s possible that older Android operating system versions won’t support the newly added screen-sharing capability, and that it won’t work during lengthy group calls. When a receiver is using an older version of WhatsApp, they will be unable to receive the transmitted material, even if the other user initiates screen sharing.
The WABetaInfo also added that when the users will install the WhatsApp Beta versions, users might see some differences in designing the new navigation bar. The users will also notice the changes in the bottom navigation bar and some users might get their tabs in order: Chats, Calls, Communities, and Status.
