Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp will end support for various old phone platforms from February 2020. As per the information on the WhatsApp FAQ section, Android phones running on Android 2.3.7 operating system and iPhones running on iOS 7 will not support WhatsApp from next year.

In addition to this, Whatsapp is withdrawing support for all Windows phones from December 31, 2019. This means WhatsApp on phone supporting Windows OS will no longer get updates from WhatsApp. This comes months after WhatsApp had rolled out stable finger lock feature for Android.
