There are many EPF claim forms for different sorts of claims. It is critical to apply for EPF withdrawal using the proper claim form to ensure a smooth disbursement of money. There are several ramifications of PF withdrawal, the most prominent of which is the TDS on withdrawals.

As a result, it is not suggested to remove EPF balances while actively employed; instead, members should consider PF transfers across companies when they change positions.

Types of EPF Claim Forms

Form 19: This is to be filled out whenever a member’s PF account is fully settled.
Form 10C: This form is used to seek Scheme Certificates/Withdrawal Benefits under the Employees’ Pension Scheme of 1995.
Form 10D: This is used for submitting pension claims.
Form 20: This form is used to claim PF on behalf of a member’s lawful heir/nominee after death.
Form 5IF: This is used to collect assurance benefits under Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance ’76 by a member’s legal heir or nominee.
Form 31: For claiming advance/temporary withdrawal under Employees’ Provident Scheme ’52.
Form 13: Used to transfer PF/pension funds between multiple accounts.
Form 14: For funding a life insurance policy from the PF account.
