The Nirbhaya case convicts are finally to be ‘hung’ this week on 20th March. After exhausting all the legal options their family members have requested the President. The convicts who managed to delay the hanging multiple times now have only 3 days left. As per the Delhi court’s warrant hanging would take place on 20th March 5:30 A.M.
The family members of the 4 convicts have requested the President for ‘Euthanasia‘. For the unknown Euthanasia, also called mercy killing, is an act or practice of painlessly putting someone to death. It is generally used for medical patients suffering from painful and incurable disease or incapacitating physical disorder.
“We request you (President) and the parents of the victim to accept our request and give us permission for euthanasia and stop any crime from happening in the future so that another incident like Nirbhaya doesn’t happen and the court doesn’t have to hang five people in place of one,” families of convict wrote to President. There are no sins that cannot be forgiven, said the families.
