The world continues to get “expensive” with each passing day and got a tad more expensive on Friday when a parking lot at “The Center” – the 73-story Hong Kong commercial tower – was sold for a whopping sixty-eight million seven hundred thirty-six thousand four hundred ninety-nine (6,87,36,499) rupees.
One of the investors that had paid US$5.15 billion last year to acquire The Center said that he has sold the last of his 4 parking lots to someone who has an office in the building. When calculated, the per square foot price would be approx $7,200 per square foot.
As per the South China Morning Post, Jack Chan Siu-kit and Cheung Tsui-ling are the secrets owners of the parking space.
